Innovation Maturity Levels

Discovery will welcome entries at the more mature part of level 2 and less mature part of level 3 on Ofwat’s Innovation Maturity Level framework (equivalent to technology readiness level (TRL) 3-6) – highlighted in the box below.

A key objective of Discovery is to progress supported initiatives to the higher levels on this frameworkand prepare entries to move to even higher levels outside of the competition by supporting them to work toward entering other Fund competitions or providing a pathway to working with water companies towards adoption.
