Breakthrough 3 webinar

On Wednesday 5 October 2022 at 11 am (BST), Ofwat and the delivery partners hosted a webinar for potential entrants and partners to clarify their understanding of Breakthrough 3. You can watch the recording below.

The transcript is available here (PDF, 401 KB) and the slides we used to present are here (PDF, 3 MB)

Surgery sessions with the delivery partners

One-to-one surgery sessions are available every Thursday during the entry period. These sessions provide entrants with an opportunity to ask questions about Breakthrough 3, particularly relating to the entry process.

The aim of surgery sessions is to help clarify publicly available information and support understanding of the current guidance. The team is not able to provide any guidance on entries themselves.

You can now sign up for a surgery session via Calendly below. Please only sign up for one slot per organisation/team at a time – you can ask as many questions as you like.

If you would like to join a surgery session but cannot make any available surgery slot times, please email us at [email protected] to find an alternative time.

Entrant support with Science Practice

For Breakthrough 3, we have again partnered with Science Practice who will be offering entrants support to communicate clear and compelling entries in line with the challenge criteria. The guidance has been prepared in collaboration with the delivery partners, and includes synthesis of key feedback from the judges and assessors about previous rounds.

The support is offered to all eligible entrants who intend to submit entries to the Catalyst and/or Transform streams and will be provided through workshops, one-to-one coaching calls and draft reviews, and email support.
