In Round 4, approximately £10 million is available in the Catalyst Stream for initiatives seeking funding of between £150,000 and £2 million.
Entries opened on 5 September at noon and closed on 3 January 2024 at 12 noon (GMT).
Entries included a 3-minute pitch – entrants were able to register for a recording slot no later than 5pm (GMT) on Friday 17 November 2023.

Approximately £30 million is available in the Transform Stream for initiatives seeking funding of between £2 and £10 million*.
Submissions for Stage 2 closed for entries at 12 noon (GMT) on 10 January 2024.
Before submitting your entry, you must have read and understood the following materials:
*In exceptional circumstances, where an entry will deliver impact across the water sector in England and Wales, we are open to accepting entries requesting more than £10 million. We ask that this impact be demonstrated by having at least ten water companies in England and Wales as entry partners.
Submitting an entry requesting greater than £10 million is subject to the prior approval of Ofwat. For more information and to request approval to bid for above £10 million, you must email [email protected] no later than Wednesday 4 October 2023 at 5 pm (BST).
Entries that are successful will need to sign a winner’s agreement in order to receive funding. The winner’s agreement will be based on the standard templated shared above. Please note the template winner’s agreements are provided for information purposes only at this time, and may be subject to changes.
Winning teams must sign the final agreements no later than 5 pm (BST) on 17 May 2024 to be paid by mid-June 2024.
