Since 2023, Ofwat have published an annual report containing their reflections on the previous 12 months of the Fund, and their expectations for the year ahead. These can be found at the links below:
The dissemination of data, knowledge and insight into what has (and has not) worked is central to the Ofwat Innovation Fund. To support this, the Fund is preparing ‘learning reports’ to shine a light on the experiences, insights and learnings from funded projects working in particular areas.
The intent of these reports is to enable all water sector stakeholders – including water companies, their supply chain partners, academia, policymakers, non-governmental organisations and third sector organisations – to adopt, build on and learn from the innovations we have funded to date.
These reports are a new initiative – if you have feedback or suggestions for how future reports could be improved, please contact the Ofwat Innovation Fund delivery team.
Each year, Ofwat publishes open data on the projects which have been funded – including winners, partners, themes and funding amounts.

Each quarter, lessons learned from all funded projects are collated and shared with directly with innovation teams at each of the water companies in England and Wales.
